After becoming a mom herself, Samantha felt called to expand her photography business further into the family and newborn space. She came to me to help build her new brand from the ground up.
After becoming a mom herself, Samantha felt called to expand her photography business further into the family and newborn space. She came to me to help build her new brand from the ground up.
Using a soft color palette and thin typeface, Le Papillon's branding began to come together. We wanted to evoke a warm and inviting aesthetic to capture the feeling of a new family blooming. A floral wreath adorned with three butterflies was not only a nod to the name, but represented Samantha's new family of three at the time – her inspiration to shift focus to family photography. We have since added a fourth little butterfly as her own family has grown.

Hand drawn floral illustration created a unique element able to be woven throughout all of the brand details. This combined with a user-friendly, mobile responsive website design was the perfect mix of modern and nostalgic. Heartfelt products have become an integral part of the Le Papillon experience, and this design suite perfectly captures the essence of creating family heirlooms.
